Chocolate Absinthe Cocktail Recipe
The history of chocolate and absinthe together are rumored to be an aphrodisiac but we can neither confirm or deny. For this cocktail, the method of mixing is not an exact science. Decide how large you want your cocktail and the ingredients will work from that. For example if you want the end result to be one cup of cocktail then 1/4 part will mean 1/4 of a cup.
You can layer the alcohols on top of each other if you wish, but we didn’t bother this time. We thought it looked nicer mixed.
1/4 part Absinthe
1/3 part Irish Cream
1/3 part Crème de Cocoa
2 dashes of a good quality Butterscotch Schnapps
Layer each type of alcohol on top of each other. This gives you a super cool layered look. Alternatively, you can mix all ingredients in a martini glass and stir. If you are making this one in a jug then use a long spoon to stir.
