The Chrysanthemum Cocktail features vermouth and benedictine as the main ingredients, with the addition of our favorite absinthe to make it more delicious.
If the cocktail is a bit sweet for you, you can reduce the amount of benedictine liqueur a little. There are different variations of this cocktail and the brands of absinthe and vermouth you chose will great affect the final cocktail.
1 teaspoon absinthe
2 tablespoons (1 ounce) Benedictine liqueur
1/4 cup (2 ounces) dry vermouth
1 cup ice cubes
1 thin strip orange peel
What you need
- In a cocktail shaker, stir the vermouth, benedictine and absinthe together.
- Add ice cubes and stir for 1 minute, then strain to a chilled cocktail glass.
